De Britse krant The Guardian meldt: "There are only four distinct types of Bengal tiger in the world and they are all in this amazing photo shoot," says Dr Bhagavan Antle of The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (T.I.G.E.R.S), who brought these majestic animals to the studio.”
In The Guardian: De vier gezichten van de Bengaalse tijger

The Bengal tiger, or Royal Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris or Panthera tigris bengalensis), is a subspecies of tiger primarily found in India and Bangladesh. They are also found in Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and southern Tibet.

Once found throughout the Indian subcontinent, the Bengal tiger's natural habitat has drastically reduced due to their increasing interactions with humans. Most tigers in India, home to about 50% of the world's tigers, are fragmented into many small isolated populations making them vulnerable to extinction.
